Rev. George A. Kohl is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College (Lancaster, PA) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, IL). He has been married to Martha since 1980 and they have lived in Worcester since 1995. God has blessed them with five adult children and nine grandchildren who all live nearby. He has been in ministry since 1980 serving as a youth pastor (Cortland, NY), solo pastor (Long Island), senior pastor (Belmont Street Baptist Church, Worcester), and associate pastor (Hope Chapel, Sterling), before sensing a call from God to go into intentional interim ministry. Before coming to Boylston, he served as an intentional interim pastor in Eastford CT, Gardner MA, and Wellesley MA. He voluntarily gives of his time to the Worcester Alliance for Refugee Ministry (WARM) and Barnabas Ministries, a network of pastoral support groups.
